Digital Marketing Specialist, Website Personalization

Carnegie Dartlet is looking for a motivated full-time Digital Marketing Specialist to join the Inbound Marketing team in our Westford, Massachusetts office to support Carnegie Clarity™; Carnegie Dartlet’s proprietary web personalization and marketing attribution services. The role of the Digital Marketing Specialist is to manage website personalization interaction campaigns for our higher education clients.

Personalized website content interactions are independent web elements (ex. lightboxes and popups) targeted to specific website user audiences that conform with our client’s website styles.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the day-to-day website personalization campaign activities across multiple accounts, including campaign planning, implementation oversight, audience targeting, performance review, and recommendations on campaigns
  • Review and editing of personalization creative/copy
  • Analyze data related to user behavior and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns for future opportunities
  • Communicate insights and trends via campaign performance reports and dashboards
  • Create audience segments within a customer data platform (CDP) to be used for campaigns, analysis, and/or marketing purposes
  • Work on special projects as needed to support the Clarity team
  • Be a team player who enjoys a fast-paced, fun environment!

Carnegie Clarity™ services are bringing groundbreaking new technology and marketing tactics to the higher education industry. The right person for this role will be someone comfortable with new technology, have the ability to quickly learn and acclimate to it, and help to integrate it into overall services to drive innovation in the industry.

This position reports directly to our Senior Marketing Technologist and will work closely with the AVP of Inbound Digital Marketing Services.

Qualifications and Necessary Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) related to Marketing
  • 1-3 years of experience in a digital marketing campaign management role
  • Experience with digital audience segmentation via digital ad platforms
  • Experience with web analytics (i.e. Google Analytics)
  • Strong ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Excellent critical thinking and computational thinking skills
  • Interpersonal, time management, and project management skills a must
  • Experience with data visualization and analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with marketing automation or customer data platforms (CDP), a plus but not required
  • Past experience in higher education a plus but not required
