Junior Digital Marketing Strategist

Carnegie Dartlet is looking for a motivated full-time Junior Digital Marketing Strategist to join the Inbound Marketing team to support Carnegie Clarity™, Carnegie Dartlet’s proprietary web personalization and marketing attribution service. This person will strategize and manage website personalization interaction campaigns for our higher education clients.

Personalized website content interactions are independent web elements (e.g., lightboxes and pop-ups) targeted to specific website user audiences that conform with our clients’ website style guidelines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day website personalization campaign activities across multiple accounts, including campaign strategy, audience targeting, platform setup, and campaign performance analysis 
  • Working directly with clients to understand their objectives and KPIs and to share campaign performance with them
  • Communicating insights and performance trends for website personalization campaigns to internal teams
  • Collaborating with the Paid Digital team to ensure alignment between interactions or campaigns and paid media marketing efforts
  • Building personalized website content interactions/campaigns in the CDP platform using HTML and CSS
  • Working on special projects as needed to support the Clarity team
  • Being a team player who enjoys a fast-paced, fun environment!

Carnegie Clarity™ services are bringing groundbreaking new technology and marketing tactics to the higher education industry. The right person for this role will be comfortable interacting with clients and internal stakeholders. This person will also be comfortable with new technology, have the ability to quickly learn and acclimate to it, and help integrate it into overall services to drive innovation in the industry.

This position reports directly to our Assistant Director of Marketing Technology. While Carnegie Dartlet is currently working remotely due to COVID-19, candidates should be open to working in our office in Westford, Massachusetts, in the future.

Qualifications and necessary skills:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a digital marketing campaign management role or experience with marketing automation or customer data platforms (CDP)
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Strong ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Excellent critical-thinking skills
  • Interpersonal, time management, and project management skills a must
  • Ability to manage high-value clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Google Analytics preferred
  • Experience with Google Big Query and Google Data Studio a plus 
  • Past experience in the higher education field a plus but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
