Sales Representative

Carnegie is looking for a Sales Representative to help support and contribute to our continued growth. This position is remote but can also be located at our offices in Westford, Massachusetts, or Charlotte, North Carolina. 

The Sales Representative will primarily be responsible for selling our products and services to colleges and universities to help their enrollment and marketing strategy needs. Main duties include locating new sales opportunities through effective communications tactics, contact database management, scheduling meetings, and presenting or demoing our solutions to admissions and marketing professionals across the higher education industry.

This individual will use their skills in communications and sales to highlight the advantages of our suite of services and will be expected to complete the following duties:

  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
  • Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
  • Understand and demonstrate our products and services to the customer
  • Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in Sales or Marketing
  • Exceptional organizational skills, multitasking capabilities, prioritization skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to build and nurture client and employee relationships
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience and proven relationship-building skills
  • Understanding of the higher education industry or admissions/enrollment a plus
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills a must
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google (Slides, Docs, Sheets)
