Slate Implementation Strategist

Location: Charlotte, NC (preferred)

Carnegie's Underscore division is looking for a Slate-experienced enrollment professional to assist partnering institutions through consultation and technical implementation of Slate. The ideal candidate will possess at least one-year of experience working within Slate in an admissions and enrollment setting. Candidates should be comfortable with the technical aspects of the position including implementing the Slate CRM utilizing Technolutions' best practices, as well as providing hands-on support for clients. Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills are preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Slate Implementation & Support

  • Customize and build Slate features, including, but not limited to:  

              - Application, reader and related features  

              - Deliver

              - Events

              - Fields and prompts      

              - Queries and reports      

              - Rules  

  • Understanding of Slate     functionality to complete day-to-day tasks on a project-by-project basis
  • Serve as project team support on client Slate Implementations
  • Lead Consultations of low-to-medium complexity on an individual basis
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including but not limited to, Launchpads, Slate Summit, and     other conferences as required    

Communication & Training

  • Provide continued implementation, consultation, and training services to clients through weekly check-in calls  
  • Offer strategic recommendations regarding Slate, data management, and enrollment strategies
  • Collaborate with division members to co-facilitate on-campus and/or virtual trainings and create related documentation
  • Document recommendations and findings in call summary reports    

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience acting in the role of Slate Captain or Slate Administrator
  • Minimum one year of experience in Higher Education or Admissions Office
  • Competency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability and willingness to expand technical skills
  • Self-motivation    
  • Ability to function as an equal partner in a small autonomous team
  • Friendly and easy-going, comfortable in a casual office environment
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions    
  • Interpersonal skills to positively represent the company to its clients and partners    
  • Responsive and clear communication style
