Slate Portals Strategist

Location: Charlotte, NC (preferred)

Carnegie's Underscore division is looking to grow it's Slate Portals team. It is an innovative, problem-solving group of Enrollment Management professionals dedicated to synchronizing the prospective student lifecycle through the capabilities provided through Portals.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated Higher Education professional familiar with Technolutions Slate CRM eager to provide high-quality, custom-built portals for institutions. This client facing individual will work collaboratively with other members of the Slate Portal team to build, tailor, and optimize both the client’s processes and the end-user experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Slate Support

Build and tailor Slate portals for the following audiences:

  • Application lifecycle
  • Prospect
  • Athletics
  • Faculty
  • Parents
  • Other datasets
  • Slate.org Organization and Organization Contacts
  • Many more!

Communication & Training

  • Provide continued training and project updates to clients through periodic check-in calls
  • Provide strategic recommendations regarding Slate, enrollment recruitment and marketing strategies

Other

  • Participate in on-going professional development opportunities including, but not limited to, Learning Lab and Slate Summit.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Slate Portals team to develop training materials and learning resources to Underscore staff members.

Preferred Skills:

  • One year of experience with Technolutions Slate CRM
  • Two years of experience in Higher Education or Admissions Office
  • Ability and willingness to expand technical skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to function as an equal partner in a small autonomous team
  • Organized and task-oriented
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Interpersonal skills to positively represent the company to its clients
